What this notice covers
This notice covers www.ionatech.co.uk, a public company website. How Momentum is secured is on the security page. A hosted portal used by a customer organisation has its own privacy information, because it processes that organisation’s records.
What we collect
If you email us or use the contact form, we receive the name, email address, organisation name, and message you choose to send. The form opens your own email application; this website does not store form submissions.
Our email provider then holds the correspondence in the ordinary way. We use that information to reply to your enquiry and, where relevant, to continue a commercial conversation.
The site does not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics. See the cookies page.
Lawful basis
We handle enquiry correspondence on the basis of legitimate interests: responding to people who contact a UK company about its products and services. If we later enter a contract, we also process what we need in order to take steps at your request before that contract.
How long we keep it
Enquiry email is kept for as long as we need it to complete the conversation and for a reasonable period afterwards for our records, then deleted or archived according to our ordinary email retention.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. Email is processed by our email hosting provider so that we can send and receive mail. We would share information if the law required it.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to restrict or object to our use of it, subject to the usual legal limits. You can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
