Momentum
The platform underneath the system we build for you.
Momentum is Iona Tech’s delivery platform. Every serious operational system needs people, access, catalogues, forms, notes, documents, a history of what happened, and a way to write to someone outside it. Those ship with the engagement. The project is spent on what is yours.
Organisations
Many customer companies on one hosted system. Each firm has its own people, catalogues, records, name, logo, and sending domain.
Records and lists
Operational lists with filters, export to Excel, and a consistent record workspace. New modules follow a known shape.
Forms
Admins author questionnaires, publish immutable versions, and offer staff or public fill, from the same tool.
Notes, timeline, and documents
A conversation on the record, an append-only activity history written by the API, and one private object store for files.
Email and SMS
Operators send from the case or the person, using a template and a live preview. The rendered copy is the record of send.
How a system is put together
A TypeScript application. The browser talks only to a REST API, and that API is the only process that touches the database and the private file store. Identity is invite-only. Authorisation belongs to the system. Every table is scoped to the organisation.
Local development, hosted development, test, and production follow the same path. Code is promoted. Production data stays where it is. The same layers, in public language, are on Security.
Bound to the sector
The platform is built to take a sector shape. The same base supports a people-centred workflow or an asset-centred workspace. Healthcare and property already run on it. A further engagement attaches the same capabilities to a different primary record.
We host what we build: identity, database, and application, operated as one service for the life of the engagement.
Already in place
Login, people, roles, lists, forms, notes, timeline, documents, messaging, and the application shell are platform. A clinical pathway, a property dossier, or the record your business actually runs on is the work of the engagement. AI agents shorten that part.
