We are a UK company, incorporated in 2014. The practice is small on purpose: client leadership and design stay in the firm, and specialist associates join an engagement when the work needs them.

Leads client work, technology strategy, and delivery.
Patrick co-founded Crystal Software, a financial-services software company that grew past 50 people in five years. Crystal acquired Trigold, a mortgage research business of about 85 people, came through the 2008 credit crunch, and was sold to Avelo in 2012. Iress acquired Avelo the following year.
He has served at board level as a non-executive, CTO, and COO, and has invested in early-stage technology companies, including Staysafe, a lone-worker safety platform later acquired.
At Iona Tech that experience is the advisory practice: strategy, product, AI adoption, the cost of operations, customer acquisition, and the technology a company will be valued on. The build practice is how the advice becomes a system people can run.
